Coco Peat

A fibrous, coconut-based substrate that helps growers manage water, air and nutrition around the roots.

Why growers use it

  • Helps retain moisture while maintaining pore space for air
  • Works well with controlled irrigation and fertigation
  • Provides a more uniform starting medium than field soil
  • Can be used in bags, pots and other soilless growing systems
  • Makes root-zone conditions easier to observe and adjust

Good practice: Coco peat properties vary by processing, buffering and particle size. Irrigation and feeding should always be adapted to the actual product, crop and local water quality.

Nutrient A & B

A two-part nutrient system keeps concentrated ingredients apart until each part is diluted into the irrigation water.

Why two parts?

Some concentrated mineral salts can react when mixed together too strongly, forming deposits that plants cannot use efficiently. Separating A and B helps maintain compatibility before dilution.

What plants require

Primary macronutrients include nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). Plants also use secondary macronutrients such as calcium, magnesium and sulphur, plus trace nutrients including iron, manganese, zinc, copper, boron, molybdenum, chlorine and nickel.

Important: Never combine concentrated A and B directly. Add each part separately to water and follow the product instructions.

Liquid Fertilizer

A practical format for measured application through suitable irrigation or direct feeding programmes.

Where it fits

  • Easy to measure and disperse when used as directed
  • Useful for planned feeding within a managed crop programme
  • Can complement a broader nutrition strategy

Application rates cannot be universal. Crop type, stage, climate, water quality, existing nutrient levels and irrigation frequency all affect the right programme.

Can I use the same feeding programme for every crop?

No. Crop, variety, stage, climate, water and growing system all matter. Use the label as the starting point and adjust only with informed monitoring.

Is coco peat the same as soil?

No. Coco peat is a soilless growing medium. It supports the roots physically but generally relies on a managed nutrient programme to supply plant nutrition.

Why should A and B remain separate?

At high concentration, certain nutrient salts can react and form insoluble deposits. Keeping the concentrates separate until dilution reduces this risk.
